apparently, I'm nervous about switching terminal emulators... weird

@jezra I run a terminal every day. But, I just realized I've always used what ever is the default in what ever distro.

@nybill and what happens when you switch to a distro without a default desktop environment? PURE CHAOS!!

@nybill but if you were on a computer without a terminal emulator and you had to install one, which would you pick?

@jezra That's what I mean, I never paid attention to them much. Maybe I should look into them more. I could be missing out.

@johnnynull Yep, I've been using Linux/Unix for (man this just hit me) over 20yrs. As long as what ever, executes my command, I'm happy.

@nybill @johnnynull About 14 years for me. College instructor passed out RH (v 6.0?) CDs around 1998.

@lnxwalt280 Yea, that is about the time I picked up on Linux. But, we had a old Unix lab at my college when I was there 92'ish.

@johnnynull I just happened across an old UNIX lab in college and wormed my way in. I picked up Linux ~96-98.
