!Firefox doesn't use !KDE file picker, but !Chrome does. Le sigh.
-
@gombang Chrome uses Kwallet too!
-
@chatterbox Yes. Makes me hard to keep using Firefox on KDE.
-
@gombang If you are using Kubuntu, a new package with support is on the way

@sinoohe کدوم؟!
-
@afiestas Interesting. I use Fedora now but may defect if I can find enough good reason(s).
-
@gombang Dunno if Fedora guys are planning to package Firefox with the needed patches :/
-
@afiestas Depends on the nature of the patches perhaps? Fedora tends to follow upstream, so they may not include it if upstream don't.
-
@afiestas Of course I can't speak for them. I am a mere user :)
-
@afiestas Well, I stay on Firefox for the usual excuse: extensions :) Perhaps I should pay another look to the state of Chromium side.
-
@afiestas Really? Didn't Ubuntu just pull Firefox KDE support in 12.04? Have link to more info?
-
@samatjain This is all I have: http://ur1.ca/9u7l8 dunno if they work
-
@afiestas the day chromium can be used with KGet I will agree, not before that
-
@zxsinclair Good point, built in support for that would be awesome (there was an extension years ago for doing that)
-
@afiestas Doesn't appear to work w/ Firefox 16 Aurora…
-
patches welcome™
-
@hub Last time I looked into this, was marked as WONTFIX. While w/out patches, https://bugzil.la/528510 looks somewhat hopeful !Firefox !KDE
-
that bug is not marked as WONTFIX.
-
@hub Didn't say it was… the last time this came up, which had patches, was marked WONTFIX.
-
