Ha @windigo. Remember the drive magnets you gave me? Got my drill bit back. :D http://ur1.ca/9zcy4
-
@nybill i dont know what that is, but it looks illegal!! :P
-
Not if you're boring.
-
@inscius Heh, All legal. Just pulling some CAT5 around the house. ;) The drill bit fell down that hole last night.
-
@inscius bank robbery?
-
@zoowar LOL
-
@nybill hehe
-
@nybill I remember doing that when I moved into my roomate's new house, he had grand plans of wiring up every romm in the house.
-
@nybill it's two years later and AFAIK it's still a bunch of bare cables hanging out of holes in the walls :P
-
@kevingranade I've been here ~5years. And the way my house is built there is no easy path from 2nd floor to basement. I found 1 last night.
-
@nybill btw, are those holes the same as ssh tunnels? ;)
-
@nybill nice, a co-worker of mine has the same problem, still hasn't found a solution. Glad you managed it.
-
@kevingranade It was latterly the space between two studs. A 10" space is all that is common to both floors!
-
@inscius I had to make room for the tubes. (really they were exploratory. I had to get a flashlight in there to look down.)
-
@nybill any reason you didn't run an external cable? Doesn't matter now of course. I'm just curious.
-
@nybill @kevingranade you know what would be great? A trained rat to pull those cables through the walls.
-
@jk yea, its called an electrician. :/
-
@nybill hahahaha!
