    why do Dells !ubuntu !linux machines come with ati and intel graphics cards when nvidia currently has the best driver support in ubuntu?

      @darwinsurvivor from experience Intel has the best driver support on linux ootb, nvidia has lots of bugs and there esp with 2D rendering

      @darwinsurvivor I think u can customise your comp and select nvidia graphic card when u purchase dell computer from it's website.

      @darwinsurvivor I never recommend nvidia in dell laptop. I had problem in dell l'top due to nvidia and replaced gpu and motherbord twice.

      @darwinsurvivor Dell=$$ ATi not as bad as Intel graphics for Linux. I'll take the former over latter if I had to take lesser of two evils.

      @darwinsurvivor yep it did .. i wont say torns.. have some problems wh i easily solved by added some parameters to xorg (cont)
