seriously, any suggestions to replace #liferea on #intrepid? 50+ feeds, and they're a major part of my day...

@gph Do you like CLIs? Check out Newsbeuter! Liferea seems to be the app of choice for GUIs.
-
@gph I use an (ahem) nonfree webapp feed reader. Would love to migrate to a free webapp, but don't see much case for thick client feedreader
-
@mlinksva, have you looked at http://yocto-reader.flouzo.net/ ? I just read RSS via email, but it seems #yocto might be an option for you.
-
@mlinksva: you should get a test account on paulproteus' TinyTinyRSS installation. I really like it. #GPL #dupe-detection #self-hosted #good
-
@bkuhn @greg I will definitely be checking out http://yocto-reader.flouzo.net and http://tt-rss.org eeeenteresting indeed!
-
@mlinksva I wouldn't waste your time with tt-rss, unless things have changed drastically in the past few months
-
@tieguy: what issues did you have with ttrss?
-
@greg I don't recall exactly except that it was clearly the best Free option out there and still not good for my usage patterns
-
@copiesofcopies, if you can't get yocto-reader to work in firefox3, let me know. I have a bit of pull with the developer. :)
-
@tieguy yeah, that is the simplest explanation. :-)
