In #mediagoblin, how does one add a user manually (or just without dealing with email)?
-
@cwebber Thought just occurred to me... Mediagoblin could focus on the back-end (trans*, etc.) as an unhosted svc, work w/openphoto for FE.
-
@cwebber (Unhosted svc. as in being one provider. Codec "freedom" to transliterate wherever it's allowed.)
-
OpenPhoto is pretty specifically about photos. MediaGoblin is about a lot more. Codebases are pretty far apart now also.

I've never understood the "I don't know what I want to do with my life" mentality. It's always been an issue of narrow & focus for me.
-
For me that mentality's always been about "I don't have any talents, what can I do with my life to get by?" It's not a 'slacker' thing.
-
@lnxwalt too many things. Definitely with you there.
-
@cwebber One can have that problem *because* of having an overwhelming number of ideas/possibilities and being paralyzed by choice... #ahem

I love the last comment saying Blu-Ray menu items can be Java applets. Massive invitation to UI horror or what? http://ur1.ca/9ekaz

(But I don't think I've ever seen a Blu-Ray disc or video from one. Is result as I'd expect?)

thanks for the reminder! this is a project I'd like to back

I've been loosely noting instances of "open means freedom" for later exploitation. Please send further my way.
