I'm constantly forgetting whether or not it's remote then branch, or branch then remote, with git push.
-
@j1mc "Hair explosion" is unintentionally my signature look, I suppose :)
-
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=5887789 claims ALTER TABLE ADD COLUMN paid for by AOL; why not crowdfund the rest?
-
@mlinksva an officially maintained solution would be good, I guess if external that would be okay, but I still don't see why not ALTER TABLE
-
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=5888161 also a good response
-
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=5887053 is an interesting response though!
-
Got very frustrating reponse in #sqlite along the lines of "we shouldn't have ALTER TABLE so we can prove that sqlite isn't a production db"
-
Submitted to reddit: http://ur1.ca/ec52c I'd really love to see someone run this crowdfunding campign.
-
New blogpost: Could we please end the SQLite ALTER TABLE pain? http://dustycloud.org/blog/sqlite-alter-pain/
-
@maiki Yeah I started that CSS file from days when I had very little idea what I was doing.. I don't remember why everything is as it is ;)

That's great! I am *very* interested in non-coding contrib! (Despite imperfect success, I do try to raise non-dev contribution visibility.)
-
@cwebber I'm interested in how #freesoftware projects handle/promote noncoding contribs, specially since I read http://b1t.it/dqNc #research
-
@larjona Awesome, that help is appreciated!
-
@larjona I don't have a nice way to pull down the list so I can quickly go through it. But I already know you do a lot (and thanks!)
-
@larjona I have an orgmode task to try to improve translation attribution situation in the future. In the meanwhile, added you to AUTHORS
-
@larjona I could maybe write a script that polls periodically and scrapes the site, but haven't had time. I do want to give attribution!
-
@larjona I tried looking at that; it seemed to miss some at one point, and I couldn't find a nice way to find a "since X time for all langs"
-
And yeah, Pelican is really, really nice. @j1mc has been helping with switching medaigoblin.org over also and I'm excited to help there.
-
@davexunit Nope! But I was previously using jinja2 with the crappy "jinjablosxom" plugin I wrote.

I think if the Pump API is successful, most devs will learn it more by using libraries than reading the spec, as I think is true for HTTP.
