@vrillusions so maybe using SSH to run the command on the remote could be possible if one does not want a local clone

@vrillusions no, not paranoid, just the need to be sure that git is doing the right thing for access control

@vrillusions, your private repositories will stay "safe" because of SSH access control and the git-export-daemon-ok file
