Tech debt day yesterday: reviewed tech debt tickets, closed a bunch and voted the biggest obstacles. Today: start removing those obstacles.

As expected, I played around with Google Wave for a day or two. Haven't touched it for 3+ months.

The default Chrome page (showing recently closed pages) is nifty. Unless you're hooked up to a projector.

Only using firefox nowadays when It's All Text is required and for gnarly DOM/JS issues best deciphered by Firebug. #chrome

Need to figure out what's next in book club (already done PragProg, Passionate Prog, and DP in Ruby). Maybe Clojure (some group interest).

Brown bag lunch on Interpreter, DSLs and Meta-Programming from Design Patterns in Ruby. The latter 2 feel a bit dated. One chapter to go!

Good talk with QA team re: integrating Cucumber more into their process—both catching obvious bugs & driving changes to their testing plans.

Bummer. Buddy of mine, who left coding for _marketing_ got laid off. Thought he was crazy when he did it. Hard to gloat now. Stupid economy.

Amazed that it has been so long since code has filled me with a desire to hit something. Has the code gotten that good or am a boiled frog?
