  1. Joel Sax Joel Sax Ken Sheppardson , Rob Portinga

@mcnee @kshep Interesting. Sounds like we need some legislating here to protect quasi-public areas.

  2. Joel Sax Joel Sax Ken Sheppardson

@kshep That's like saying I opt out of facial recognition by not going for walks.

  3. Joel Sax Joel Sax Dave Cridland

@dwd And no one has explained to me why I can't opt out of track if it is implemented. That's what I have been asking for.

  7. Joel Sax Joel Sax Ken Sheppardson

@kshep That same argument is made for face recognition devices. You walk around in public, you can be tracked. Don't buy the argument.

  9. Joel Sax Joel Sax

@ev1 I find it extremely odd that so-called progressives support implementing a technology that makes it easier to conduct surveilance.

  10. Joel Sax Joel Sax Evan Prodromou

@evan I think the privacy angle needs to be considered w/ track. If you are going to have it, people should be able to block it.

  11. Joel Sax Joel Sax Dave Winer

@dave I always find watching CNN dizzying. Personally, I've been looking at the Times of India for my information.
