@apol Thinking about adding hotkey support (e.g. Q for killing a task, it's near Tab on most keyboards, too)
-
@apol I like the thumbnails for eye candy and mouse over for quick switching, but the grid switcher has information overload problems :)

Wrote a QML window switcher for !kde - fun after grokking QML itself :) http://ur1.ca/bl9x9

Wrote an Emmet (former Zen Coding) Javascript plugin for Kate as Insane HTML wasn't getting updated. !kde http://goo.gl/qh5NI

Ahhh nevermind, figured it out, works pretty nice and unobtrusive in fact :) Kudos to the scripting interface authors! !kde !kate

Anybody knows how to use the 'interactive' flag in !kate user scripts? Is there a way to prompt for user input? !kde

How cool would it be to have this integrated in Kate (as I'm not a vim or emacs fan): http://xiki.org/ !kde

@apol Oh, ok, that figures (I hate mailing lists :P ). Thank you!
-
@notmart Any place where users can participate in a debate about this? I have quite a few remarks about the existing version
-
@mtux I'll upgrade to KDE 4.9 and do a few checks if it's really because of Bespin, then post a bug report.
-
@samatjain It's a great mailer, but unfortunately it's become highly unreliable - I really hope I can continue using it again some day

After years of happily using kmail, today I finally gave up and installed thunderbird as the last few months were unbelievable :( !kde
-
@happy5214 Huh, you're right, great tip, thanks! They don't appear in either task manager, smooth tasks or icons only task manager, however
-
@notmart Here's a screenshot, I feel like I should post a bug report or something: http://ur1.ca/98z5q

@notmart Well going to special window settings and forcing 'normal window' doesn't do anything, neither do skip taskbar, switcher and pager
-
@aseigo same here - and some windows (like the tool view) don't even appear in the task bar.. any simple way to fix that with kwin?
-
@jaimealsilva That's what I use, too - no native app comes close, neither in Windows nor in KDE lands.
-
@themadman And as you said, all respect to KDEPIM developers, I wish I had the time and knowledge to help them with code, too.
