@ravenman hmm, i tried this a while ago on my laptop with hd2600. didn't help, still running hot, really hot!

@ravenman but on my desktop with hd5850 got no issues even without enabling kms. System runs very silent @ ca 40 to 50 degrees

@mynameistux It's partly dependent on your board but since you won't be changing that you'd need a fan with a base close enough to use

oh nice, i have compiled !qt in 20 min in my !amd phenom II x4 965 BE, 3.4ghz, my last pc, a P4 2.8Ghz took 3hours.
