Surprised to see that there's still some development activity around CL-HTTP, the !CommonLisp web server from the days of yore

It just took 30 minutes for my machine to build the current Armed Bear !CommonLisp
-
Installing JDK & trying out !AppEngine SDK now that Armed Bear !CommonLisp has decent startup time on GAE http://ur1.ca/in87

Learning just enough CAPI to display the output of Paul Graham's toy ray-tracer #LispWorks !CommonLisp

So let me get this straight - CloZure is a !CL, but CloJure isn't, while CloSure is a CLIM web browser?

at #ilc2009, just took a nap in my row of the auditorium. Ahh...
-
@jasonriedy looks like it, yeah. There's a good collection of folks over at twitter, though, under #ilc2009
-
Ah, but not everyone *uses* twitter, @ianmcorvidae. ;) I'm sure the !lisp, !cl, !clj, etc. groups here would appreciate their company...
-
@jasonriedy oh, definitely; nonetheless, for those seeking further #ilc2009 microblogging, twitter's a good place to go !lisp !cl !clj

Work load just bumped up to "crushing". Going dark for a bit.

In #Dylan and !cl, @marjoleink & @binyamin, 3 is a number with a type. Generic functions dispatch on type.

Owie, @nikkia. Overstrikes suck.
-
@jasonriedy no overstrikes, just weird ass DEC-mandated di- and tri-graphs
-
Actually, it'd be nice if some !cl #hacker used the xcb xml protocol defs along with cxml to generate a better clx... #tla

#lua isn't all bad, but it certainly can be used that way, @blitz. And !cl + #lisa + #dbus could be *nice*.
Monday, 09-Feb-09 01:57:30 UTC from xmpp-
@blitz, see lisa.sf.net . It's a forward-chaining rule system for #CLOS . Coolness.
-
@oddbloke my company does - it scales nicely, it just (a) sucks use and (b) sucks on low-end machines
-
@oddbloke The University I work for uses Solaris on all the big machines, the sys admins love it. We have a lot of Linux systems as well.

Hm, #stumpwm is interesting, but it looks a little clunky. No XFT. BTW, anyone have it on #clisp with #slime ? !cl

!cl Group logos in Identica are still on the mend. I've uploaded one of the logos made by Michael Spiller, grabbed from http://ur1.ca/150a
