    @nitrofurano Oct 1st the SVG 1.2 way to do named colors was put out. Minor tweaks for inkscape to support that.

      @nitrofurano SVG has supported CMYK through icc-color() for some time, named/spot is via http://www.w3.org/TR/SVGColorPrimer12/
