I can't believe I managed to wear through a chain and cassette. !cycling
about a month ago from IdentiCurse at Seattle Fire Department Station 20 Ballard, Washington, United States-
@grnspn You mean two cassettes and a chain? I don't know what kind of freaky bike you have, but mine only has one chain.
-
@takeshitakenji lol!I mean that first u change only a chain, then chain&cassette. Meaning a cassette lasts as long as 2 chain,on my roadbike
-
@grnspn Haven't changed the chain yet.

I think I kind of can tell that my bike's transmission is worn out. It feels kind of 'loose' when applying power. !cycling

@kw 20+ riders ... it's a regular ride in the local area, subtitled 'stay on or die trying'
-
@boneidol Awesome. Now *that's* my type of ride. I lead a group ride here in the States every Tuesday night. Traffic is pretty good.
-
@kw Tuesday nights seem popular! lots of chain gangs round here on a Tuesday evening. What's your terrain like?

Rode to work for the first time in quite a while without a sweater. It felt good! !Seattle !cycling #commute

When !cycling I rarely coast; instead, I keep gearing up until I hit top gear or can't keep up. The former case is very frequent now.

Cardio isn't so difficult. It takes a couple minutes to get my system's inertia up, but then I can go until my legs burn out. !cycling
