Has anyone built !cygwin !emacs with the w32 toolkit? Does it support multitty and run in mintty? Does it support --daemon?

Struggling again with building GNU GLOBAL on !cygwin with support for the exuberant-ctags parser.

Got !GNU #Global working on !cygwin, except for the Exuberant #Ctags support, without which it's useless to me :(

#botan 1.8.13-1 now available on !Cygwin; also, rebuilding #monotone 1.0-2 fixed its incompatibility with cygwin's new gcc45 stdc++.

The only thing about !Cygwin (like Putty) is that it freezes up after a few minutes (at least w/ ssh). have to skill the lingering user

Using !Cygwin w/ SMB network shares & user/group of files are "?????" ? Uncomment the sample in /etc/fstab & add "noacl" to the flags.

Gone back to #EmacsW32, because org-timestamps are inconsistently wrong in !cygwin !emacs. Very weird.

To answer my own question, !cygwin !emacs /does/ support --daemon and multi-tty. Time to start switching from #EmacsW32, I think.
