     @jfm I did exchange <-> nnimap, but switched to exchange <-> offlineimap <-> Maildir <=> nnmaildir, which was a mistake.

   #botan 1.8.13-1 now available on !Cygwin; also, rebuilding #monotone 1.0-2 fixed its incompatibility with cygwin's new gcc45 stdc++.

   The only thing about !Cygwin (like Putty) is that it freezes up after a few minutes (at least w/ ssh). have to skill the lingering user

    Gone back to #EmacsW32, because org-timestamps are inconsistently wrong in !cygwin !emacs. Very weird.

    To answer my own question, !cygwin !emacs /does/ support --daemon and multi-tty. Time to start switching from #EmacsW32, I think.

      @jfm Yeah. it may be easier to install extra stuff like w3m in cygwin. Dunno what u mean by slow though @0xaffe. !emacs not resource-hungry

      @0xaffe I don't find #emacs slow these days. Cygwin emacs is slow-ish starting up, but seems to actually run faster than emacsw32.
