          !doom on !linux . If a decent engine like Doomsday was packaged in !ubuntu maybe they could sell the .wad files in the software centre

            @aukondk But Prboom can run FreeDoom, and Doomsday can't, at least it couldn't last time I checked !doom

            @cyberkiller Good point, I've not checked. I know chocolate-doom can't, but that's probably a bit too old-school style !doom

            @aukondk I just looked at prboom's command line options - it seems it wouldn't be much of a problem to write a launcher for this !doom

            @aukondk when was running Ubuntu, noticed that there was a freedm package also. Installed both but kept choosing wrong menu option !doom

            @gnubyexample FreeDM is a Deathmatch levelset, not sure why they'd give it a menu option when it needs to be run on the cmd line to netwrk
