*sigh* #Akonadi causing load to raise to 80. Have to kill the processes. The second machine of mine this happeneds to. :-\ !KDE !Kubuntu

@alltinomit try stopping nepomuk also, possibly by killing virtuoso-t and nepomukserver, then when both are stopped, restart them

@alltinomit You should be able to limit the number of resources it consumes in KDE System.Settings.

Only found nepomuk settings, not Akonadi. Does not use KMail. Will try to restart virtuoso. Search goes on. But cron/killall works well. :-)

I think Canonical made the right decision to abandon !Kubuntu, we know that !Ubuntu is be defeated by !Mint from !Linux community.

@samatjain There is ZevenOS-Neptune available which comes with the newest and collest KDE stuff (4.8) and based upon Debian Testing.

Probably will stick w/ Kubuntu for the near term. But otherwise I've been unhappy w/ Ubuntu—each release has had annoying problems
