Is "lshw -X" the best command to see the hardware that recognized the OS???? !gnu !parabola !bash !shell
about 14 hours ago from web-
@Inxwalt I want to see all my hardware (exactly if it's working) in a only command, if it's possible.
-
@ore07 lshw is your friend, but you’ll need to install it (and just run it as root, without -X to avoid de GUI).
-
@ore07 Don’t forget
lsmodto see which kernel modules are loaded. Sometimes, that’s the best way to see what was detected.

Dear !lazyweb: does anyone have any idea how to clear the cache in #Firefox on !Android? It's a bit hard to test things if you can't do that

@marjoleink It has no such feature AFAIK. Try looking into its data folder.
-
@marjoleink There are add-ons that put a "clear cache" button in the right-side toolbar (swipe the screen to the left)
-
@rajitsingh @mvdan @bobjonkman thanks for the replies! I'll experiment - an extra button sound like a good idea for testing purposes!

dear !lazyweb, can anyone recommend a light theme that works with GTK2 and GTK3?
-
Only changed the color of "Selected items". See syntaktisk.dk/grphcs/equinevolight_lxappearance1.png & ..equinevolight_lxappearance2.png
-
@mjjzf pilot error. I didn't have the theme engine installed... giving it a go again
-
Yes, I experienced that too, somewhere. Seems a strange idea to not bundle it.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I needed a replacement for the webserver I just destroyed and I am better with debian than arch !linux.
-
It means I had to reinstall the only box available - and that was the only arch linux I have right now (other one died from broken Harddisk)

@evan and !feds any directions for using the activityspam plugin and spamicity.info on statusnet 1.1 alpha?
-
Yep, it seems to work quite well. I don’t really need it on my single user instance but, it does catch some spam from identica.
