Both of the image-to-sound projects at !lgm have been interesting, but it's hard to follow the operations. Some API/details would add a lot.

!lgm Tavmjong raised good point about SVG & w3c specs: 2 implementations required. But that can include non-browserengines; i.e. YOUR app...
