      I allowed all scripts on identi.ca and statusnet and it still doesn't update. Even with "allow all scripts globally", it doesn't update.

    i have a laptop with mint 12 and cinnamon installed, it has a radeon mobility 6000 series graphics chipset, when i installed the proprietary driver from ati, everything just went crazy. some images dont display correctly, some dont display at all, text on screen appears broken and disjointed as if the files were corrupted. i went to the forums and slot of people have the same issue. has anyone got a fix for this?1 answer

      I'm pretty sure I have the same issue on girl friends pc. No idea what to do about it though.

      The best thing is to try not using compiz. Switch to metacity or no effects mode. I found that to work best on an old laptop using the same.
