        Using !ubuntu with !openbox is very simple and fast. If you like use command line, I think that's good choice for you. :-)

                      @mo6020 Curious - what distro are you on? (I'm CrunchBang, i.e. Debian base.) Shift-Insert would be a good target for the keymapping, tho.

                      @alexs77 Copy buffer all but standardized as C-{X,C,V} except in terminal emulators where they have other meanings. Selection buffer varies.

                      @alexs77 Usually there is no keyboard shortcut for selection buffer at all, except in terminal emulators where it is usually shift-ins.

                          @vk7hse I had Gnome on my EEE for a bit. But, scrolling was terrible! Openbox is all smooth, even two finger scroll. Its a keeper.
