              @hook: so, when I set up !OpenWrt at my parents place last year, I used LuCI for the GUI. Have you tried it? Why did you pick Gargoyle?

              @balleyne: To be honest, I haven't tried #LuCi/!OpenWRT. I saw !Gargoyle and it made sense, had a build for my router and has great defaults

                          @stargieg Das kam nach ca 14 Std uptime und auch nur auf dem TL-WR1043. Die Verbindung ist danach aber top, teste ASAP die neuen Images.

                            @ddevine DD-WRT doesn't even properly support IPv6. Get OpenWrt, which gets you much closer to something maintainable.

                              @samatjain I'm using trunk, as it's the only thing that supports v2 of WNDR3700. And yes, dual band just works, pretty awesome.

                              Finally setup #shorewall-lite on my !OpenWrt router… much better than standard /etc/firewall.user. But too many netfilter features missing!

                                @tmarble BTW, to better answer your question: shorewall-lite is configured on a machine with shorewall-perl installed (full workstation)
