@faif Sounds like it may be time to request that SFLC 301 its FAIF rss feed. Seems like most complaints of brokenness are b/c of sflc feed.

@bkuhn What does `accepting' mean in this context? The plan was always to use a 3rd party X11 server. (I think... I wasn't born).

@dbs I chalk that up to cultural differences in modes of communication. Lawyers are very talkative on the phone, less so in email/identi.ca.

@fontana, no, not at all. Many GNU projects are primarily copyrighted by others & FSF is part of the "and the rest". :)

@fontana @bkuhn Indeed, I have no problems with license updates in general. The fuzziness lies in the definition of "similar in spirit".

@webmink,my "most" is surely just as quantified as @allisonrandal's is. I rarely talk to a developer who doesn't know roughly:GPL, LGPL, BSD

@tedks, only way it works is if you form an org to be a !copyright enforcement agent. e.g., !Conservancy does this for !BusyBox re: !GPLv2.
