After Crater Lake and IBC, I'd rank A&W and Barq's as 2nd tier, and Mug is in there somewhere. Plus IBC only barely beats A&W !soda

Surprisingly, many gourmet root beers taste worse than mainstream brands. eg The worst tasting were Thomas Kemper and Boylan's !soda
