Any !SuckLess experts around who can tip me as to why dmenu_run doesn't show some programs like LibreOffice in my $path on Mint Debian?
-
Idea for #dmenu, the cool !suckless app finder: disappear when ALT, CTRL or SUPER is pressed. Sometimes I hit it by accident.

Dear !suckless crowd: Anyone know if you can make the background of the dmenu_run bar transparent?
-
If nothing else, the !suckless folks prefer to keep the code small, so it couldn’t be that hard to hack it to do so, if it can’t yet.

Wireless working. Whole !suckless suite configured and compiled. OfflineIMAP, mSMTP and !mutt with googlecl ready for configuration.
-
@onedot I love offlineimap + mutt, a fine choice indeed sir :)
-
-
@chrisbuchholz It uses Webkit, right? Heard good things about it - I appreciate !SuckLess tools.
-
@mjjzf Yeah it does. Its really great in general.
-
-
Does anyone else who uses !suckless slock occasionally have it take a long time to unlock the screen? Like, 10-15 seconds?

Using the PDF reader #Zathura. Cannot decide if it is a !SuckLess candidate, or it just sucks. It is certainly good for !LightweightLinux.

-
@mjjzf no printing support. use something like lp or lpr.
-
@jrick Right, I am using Evince because of the printing support. I do need it for work, and as long as it can be built without Gnome: Fine.
-
Nice, text terminals still beeing sold. !suckless hardware? Why: http://bit.ly/aUwD9P. Products: http://bit.ly/9Ipw18.

Using !suckless ii for irc and bitlbee, wrapped with emg's srw and pcw, launching tmux windows. Bye irssi!

What makes the #stterm !Linux terminal "simple"? (I.e. what can't it do?) And is there a way to make the font larger? !suckless

@chriswaterguy it can't do UTF-8

Trying !LightLinux packages. #stterm from !suckless is the lightest command terminal I can find. #wterm has bigger fonts, still light.

Looking for a statically linked minimalist !webkit #HTML5 browser with #WebM and #SVG for #X11 on !linux - any ideas? Cheers
-
@mjjzf Seen it, very nice! So the deps are GTK, python, and in between bits? How much will that be?
-
@dandart I would assume it was Python, GTK2, PyGTK and WebkitGTK.
-
Have you tried jumanji? http://ur1.ca/5xekf
