The groups here are fantastic. Twitter should have these. In fact Twitter should have lots of things that are here! !twitterisdown

@petegilbert the groups facility is good. I work with nonprofits and sometimes feel that identi.ca has more for their groupings they seek

I'm also impressed that groups show up in my timeline, so I can follow group dents on an app like twhirl.

@documentally: You can, of course, just use a Jabber/#XMPP client. I assume there's one for the iPhone.

Spent a long time integrating an URL mapping tool from PEAR, only to find out it's too slow. I've optimized it quite a bit. It seems OK now.
