mlterm supports 256 colors in !crunchbang statler without needing to rebuild it.better than rebuild !urxvt from sources

Does it support #Unicode well, though? I have many, many files with both Unicode names and contents.
-
@takeshitakenji yes, of course. « mlterm » for « multilingual terminal » ;)
-
-
How is rgb represented in URxvt.background? Not as a triple of integers < 256, is it? !urxvt

I had a nice transparent !urxvt, but moving to urxvtd/c has resulted in opaque terminals. Why is that?
-
@otakukuma yep. Uh, that's strange. My .Xresources: http://ur1.ca/5ano3 Care sharing yours?
-
@manolomartinez add 'URxvt.transparent : True'
-
@otakukuma No, I meant true transparency. You should try my Xresources ;) Anyway, for some reason it doesn't work now... Thx anyway!

@ajpaulson Oh.. wow. My bad dude.. What os are you running?
-
@rstrcogburn no worries, it was a good suggestion. It's on !crunchbang statler (upgraded to testing) with xfce4. the thing is other WMs work
-
@rstrcogburn e.g. AwesomeWM just needed an xsession entry :s I think it *may* be a problem with Xfce as my menus got screwed up as well
-
-
So most of Xresources is read, but it always reverts !urxvt colours to pink until xrdb -merge !debian !crunchbang !linux !xfce #help

My life will be better when #gnome-terminal supports rtl languages. !gnome

@osamak mlterm is better for rtl languages. or !urxvt has a perl script to manage it http://chipstips.com/?p=584

!urxvt is working very nicely under X11 and still uses less resources than #iTerm or #terminal.app :p
