Today I hacked a PHP script to create a custom RSS feed in !WordPress. This is so much easier to do in !Ode and !MovableType.

@passthejoe pardon my ignorance, but why would you need a 'custom' RSS feed? did you add additional info to the feed, or what?

Note that there is a shitload of hiddent RSS feeds (by categories, tags, pages, comments, ...). And some usefull plugin…

Looking at !Friendica - it's not possible to allow anon comments? I think it's WP for my blog, with whatever federation I can get.

I don't think you can; it's a publisher but not a subscriber.

I don't know of another subscriber than StatusNet, btw. Lots of publishers, though.
