installed !wubi for the gf. we'll see how that goes.
-
!wubi has an over 50% spam population :(
-
!wubi installer of !ubuntu takes files from ubuntu-10.04-desktop-amd.64.iso.torrent, but I'm on Intel at 32 bit... is normal?
-
@mcastel then its really weird. just download manually and put the ISO in the wubi.exe dir. if that also doesn't work, u…
-
@darael it's an Intel Pentium 4 at 3 Ghz. At any rate, it seems that installation is going fine...
-
@bugabundo thanks, I'll see what happen now since installation is almost complete. In case of oddities I'll follow your path ;)

has anybody tried !wubi with Win7 bitlocker? Vista gives TPM a drive, but not 7. I think I have a problem on my hands for our deployment
-
need to try rotation in 9.04 X but contemplating whether to do it in !wubi or dual boot. leaning toward dual boot if Win7 will allow repart
-
my guess wubi ran out of disk space, solution; give it more, how? meh you tell me :p

is there a way to do distributed !wubi upgrades? I'm assuming not...
-
I really do not understand internationalization. these .po files are mostly in English despite looking like they should be language files
-
is there an if-else clause in batch scripting? need to get !wubi working for x64 and Dutch and current constructs don't

two of our 5 laptop models work; one was test XP, one Vista. I think I'm going to call it good !wubi
-
switching from !wubi 8.10 to 9.04. scary times!
-
!wubi so far working in Win7...the vanilla 9.04 version, not the scripted version we've got. 8.10 doesn't work
-
ugh. !wubi apparently works now on Vista but not XP. I really wish there were good unattended switches for it!
-
alright, !wubi and Win7 do not play nice. although I'm not sure how well Win7 likes VirtualBox either...
-
either !wubi doesn't work in Windows7 or it doesn't work in VirtualBox...more testing ahead...
-
finally got !wubi scripted for Vista. LiteTouch was the problem. AutoHotKey still has some problems at the end, but that's not a big deal
-
just created a !wubi IRC channel, but still not showing up as an op. anybody got experience with quassel?
