@hughbris Though I've always thought overloading the xmlns mechanism for CURIE was a bad idea, it isn't confusing. Tired old debate anyway.

compression and IDE's handle name verbosity pretty well, so readability/intuitiveness should be valued over character count. #gpx !xml

if an #XSL transformer gives you "index out of range" error, check for parameter with no name (or null or empty string) and delete it. !xml
