      Does any programming language allow "nested" comments? !XML allows nested <comment> elements. Problem solved ;-)

    NodeTree 0.2, a !Python !XML data binding interface, was released last night at http://nodetree.org/ - !XMPP and parsing support is next.

      Note that NodeTree is still in its infancy; "release early and often". Stream parsing and XPath matching is planned for 0.3. !python !xml

        compression and IDE's handle name verbosity pretty well, so readability/intuitiveness should be valued over character count. #gpx !xml

              @shiny: mainly about choice, but also information fit as per blogpost. JSON great for client JS but there are other #API uses, server-side

                #XML can be transformed to #HTML (or any other format) by #XSLT (which is also #XML) whereas #HTML may not be transformed to #XML

                if an #XSL transformer gives you "index out of range" error, check for parameter with no name (or null or empty string) and delete it. !xml
