It turned out that my laptop failed to meet minimal requirements for webcam,but nonetheless I wasted a couple hours trying to make it work

I've been trying to install my Logitech Webcam on my old laptop(Win XP)-with no success.I plug it into !Ubuntu and it worked immediately!;)
