@siretart: Afaik, it's not a mirror issue. Manually checking the hash sums shows they're correct.

old #vim binaries (built with Gtk gui) started hanging on waitpid for children. what library change in post-Squeeze uploads caused that?

@kaigara: Installing nvidia-kernel-dkms, nvidia-kernel-source, and the appropriate linux-headers package. dkms makes it very simple.
