IMO, windows 7 taskbar is the best windows-list type thing to use. KDE taskbar is similar, but I cannot map super key to the menu ...

Just tried cinnamon with my #openSUSE system. Very nice, but it reminded me why I left gnome2. Window list on the panel feels very basic ..

Updated wine 1.4.rc6 and now windows apps feel much more "native" in my !openSUSE linux machine. Fantastic

installed !gnome 3 in my !openSUSE. There are some rough egdes, but it is surprisingly snappy and pretty.

It seemed it was not blur effect which was dragging my system's responsiveness. I'm suspecting it was sliding popups. !kde
