@nambuls Actually I have disabled KMS a while ago. It slowed down my graphics card performance too much.

@tetrahedonism Thanks. I checked the wiki beforehand. It seems to be a bug that should have been fixed in xorg 1.8. In my case it backfired.

Updated !archlinux kernel to 2.6.34 and xorg-server to 1.8. Now my web browsers cause X to crash. I'm using xf86-video-ati driver. Ideas?
