I am sooo tired... loading trucks all day in the heat, and still jetlagged to hell. Having a lie down before my body forces it.

What a mess to wake up to... I may be ripping up my return tickets. At least Tasmania is still sane, maybe we should secede.

Safely in Seattle, with the only drama being a security lockdown at LAX for a minute or two. :) Being smothered by cats, and then brunch!

2 hours to showtime! Everything's packed, weighed, organised and cleaned... kinda scary but excited!

Just finished getting the weight right on my bags... who would have thought it was hard to pack less than 32 kg of stuff?

Just got home and still *heaps* to do... totally freaking out! At least I have 6 hours or so of tomorrow to get things under control.

Bird wrangling about to commence - they're going to stay with my folks for a month. They're not going to be happy. :)

Oh my goodness, I think I am finally back to a normal cough... almost a whole night's sleep *and* I can breathe today! Happyhappyhappy!

Only thing I'm missing for my Wizard of Oz costume is a gingham dress... the one I have doesn't work and no time to make one any more. :(

Aha! Scotch! Why did I not think of this before?? Cough has stopped, and now hopefully uninterrupted sleep for the first time in 3 days.

Just had real estate guy around to value the property, who went to Burning Man a few years ago. Another Tasmanian who has graced the playa!
