@vincentxavier Postgres 9.x can't migrate data automatically, it also needs 8.x to be installed. The main issue is not an !akonadi or Qt one

Don't use the PSQL backend in !akonadi if you installed Postgres 9.0. It's unsupported by Qt and migrating data from 8.4 is not possible.
