Yeah, perhaps in a few months, @X11R5. Keep talking. You're doing well.
-
*grins* 'The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society' sounds great in mono, available in http://ur1.ca/851en
-
Do you mind if I borrow your "~/.config/uzbl/config" to test?
-
Sorry, @X11R5, I'm not sure what you're talking about.
-
*shakes head* Typing 'fi' puts 'fi' in the cmd line, I type 'Help' and press Enter, then the cmd line goes blank and nothing appears in box.
-
No, it's terribly bloated and menu-based. I was using the family computer, though, and they found it familiar. I just stuck with it.
-
Okay, I've made my way to duckduckgo.com, and Shift+i gets me in insert mode. I type something, then press Enter, but nothing happens.
-
Oh, in uzbl, I was struggling to input text in forms. Ended up bloody copy 'n' pasting from mousepad. Any tips?
-
Ah, I've never used Gnome full-time. KDE on the desktop, then XFCE which was default on my Aspire One, until I'm now on Fluxbox.
-
Ah, I used irssis, but switched to weechat. Can't quite remember my reasoning now. Never used bitlBee, but it sounds darn good.
-
I'm currently on Fluxbox, incidentally, but will hopefully switch to awesome/xmonad.
-
*grins* Yep, loved vim from the start, just thought about awesome or xmonad, and tinkered with uzbl t'other day! You like ncmpcpp or ranger?
-
Ah, awesome! Glad you approve, Dan. (I'm on the right track.) P.S. Sorry for lack of contact.
-
Phff… installed #Thunderbird, but just cannot get my head around it. Trying my luck with #mutt. Optional dep: smtp-forwarder: to send mail.
-
Or you could bind it to, e.g. Ctrl+Esc, as it is in Fluxbox by default.
-
Just spent time downgrading packages to find the cause of my flash audio juddering. Turns out that !jack running at 96kHz was the problem.

Okay, no worries, dude. I DM'd you it, but can give it you tomorrow in XMPP.
-
Where will I find you?
-
Got to be honest, I'm very unfamiliar with it. Only used it for chatting with GMail contacts. No idea how rooms work or where to find them.
-
Ooh, interesting! I hadn't considered deviating from Apache. I'll study docs. Dan, if I assign my public IP to netbook, may I "unassign" it?
