@gabrielsaldana yes that's the fact.I downloaded the latest stable identica-mode and tested it with an empty .emacs and f4 doesn't work.

@ifm you have to pay attention, this doesn't work with older !orgmode versions. with 6.34 it does!

@gabrielsaldana ... now C-h b shows,that <f4> stands for identica-shortenurl-replace-at-point.Already tested without other stuff in .emacs

@gabrielsaldana shortening urls does still not work. Changed a line in identica-mode.el from ..map.. to ...identica-mode-map (kbd "f4")..
