@biglesp Do you know if/have LXF are doing anything to promote Software Freedom Day in the UK in the current/next issue out before 17/09?
-
@biglesp not sure which day(s) I will be there yet. Many others interested in helping? Is the installfest an all-day thing? Any prep needed?
-
@biglesp is this both days? what's involved, other than lots of caffeine?

anyone know why squeeze (the xfce archive manager) appears in the x11 tree rather than the xfce tree in aptitude on !debian?

@zykotick9 There's quite a few already available: `apt-cache search "^xul-ext-" |sort`
-
@zykotick9 Do you have xul-ext-noscript installed at v2.0.9.9-1? Or did you install directly within iceweasel?
-
!debian iceweasel 5 from moz.deb.net. AdBlockPlus/Flashblock pkgs OK, but NoScript/Firebug/TabMix/Greasemonkey need updating to support v5

And nowhere does it mention that bug hunting is possible because the source (Firefox, Chrome) is freely available to check bbc.in/lbOWsX

@bentinc actually, as you're running #nvidia on sid (I'm on wheezy) it could well be #mesa related. I saw this earlier: http://goo.gl/5TcNg
-
@bentinc Lines like "direct rendering: Yes" followed by "server glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation" then OpenGL strings for card/driver
-
@bentinc also check the output of glxinfo, and look for errors in your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file
-
@bentinc check your versions of: nvidia-glx, nvidia-kernel-dkms, nvidia-vdpau-driver, libgl1-nvidia-glx, and libglx-nvidia-alternatives.
