https://gist.github.com/1141086 Cut from both ends of a string in one command. Too much typing to be useful though. !bash !cli !shell

  5. Dan Douglas Dan Douglas Fabien Cazenave (:kazé)

@kaze Awesome! Bit glitchy but very cool. I feel so at home using this. :) Had to add a vimium override for the page unfortunately.

@sud0er http://bpaste.net/show/17858/ There we go. I forgot about the nice automatic #bpython bpaste feature :)

@flameeyes I usually do object tag with PNG fallback.

@flameeyes I'm sure it would be easy. What's wrong with the SVG logos? CSS is the wrong tool for the job.

@flameeyes Depends. Competent users? IIRC #Multimarkdown has templates. Through {Pan, Ascii}doc etc and a convoluted XSL workflow to PDF.

  14. Dan Douglas Dan Douglas Vim Users , Michael C. Harris

@michaeltwofish #Screen also has :only mapped to C-a Q by default. Like !vim, it doesn't close the buffers.

@dmaggot Not using gentoo's kernels... though package.provided seems broken so I put up with the big downloads and manually delete.

  16. Dan Douglas Dan Douglas Gentoo Linux , Kev Macphail

@kevie !gentoo was essentially my first. I used Kubuntu for a month before switching and I've been on it exclusively for 6 years since.

  19. Dan Douglas Dan Douglas alex952

@alex952 Not bad at all if it's what you wan't. You get all untested ebuilds for your arch and occasionally packages unstable by upstream.

@agentdero "set wildmode=longest, list, full" + "set wildmenu" is faster than nerdtree IMO. !vim
