I'm using xbmc openelec on my raspberry pi , it plays MKV files fine but embedded PSG subs out of sync.no problem with SRT subs .

I tried various multimedia files , DTS decoding was sluggish at best, otherwise , it played everything I tested it with #RESPECT

CEC support makes my HDTV remote "really" useful again, saves me one extra "precious" usb port. , you can map buttons too.#raspberry

xbmc is the best media center out there, vibrant community, on-going developing for +++ devices,Arabic subtitles support is a big + for me.

max transfer rate I could reach was 2-3 MB , not that great, but given hardware specifications ,it's reasonable .

Tried to use 2.5" HDD but "apparently"reaspberry couldn't handle the power need.not a problem,w/ ethernet port+ssh,I could move files freely

Finally , I got my #raspberry pi board, installed openelec on sd card, booted into xbmc, all done in <20 minutes.AWESOME.
