@mrb I don't think twitter people can even follow your non-twitter account anyway, so I don't particularly see the point
-
@mrb I received your reply twice, one from o.mrblog.nl, one from an "app" simply called 'feed'.
-
@mrb Probably so that you don't accidentally point to someone who shares the same nick but is a completely different person on the 2 srv's

!perl Or should I give submodule $socket and let it do whatever it wants? Making it somewhat more self-contained

!perl Is it better to have submodule just return data to main and have main send to socket, and main poke submodule with recv response?

!perl Eg. the main loop is of course in the main app, and that's where netw.comm. is handled. But in a submodule I might need to send & recv

!perl I have a GUI (Gtk) app w/ socket communications. Trying to break things out & modularise, are there any well known ways to organise?

@xopher Which GUI deals with much easier than terminal does — not to mention the vastly better non-monospace font support (at the time).
-
@xopher I'm not personally against HTML emails as much as I'm against MS-quotation style :P My biggest issue was varying encodings.
-
@xopher I so agree with #allmailclientssuck :) I used Pine back in the day too, loved it for the most part.
-
@arnebab Thankfully I'm very far from the memory limits :)
-
@aseigo Thanks :)
-
@aseigo Oh yay :) Do you have a Bug ID somewhere (be it kdezilla or Qt)?
-
@giddie A small one unrelated to any others. I rolled the KDE packages for it, and we don't really patch beyond .desktop files.
-
@giddie I should probably build a non-stripped build somehow and see what I get. The crashes sure are bloody annoying though.
-
@giddie It doesn't tend to pop up the dialog, just silently restart (which takes a while) and my plasma is stripped unfortunately.
-
@giddie Well, it's not an rc file issue. I have a fresh user now, and just experienced my first plasma-desktop crash.
-
@eightyeight Ow. :/
-
@giddie Especially since I don't enjoy remaking my Panels every so often.
-
@giddie It's a fresh enough account that it was started with a 4.9. It is quite a bad thing if people have to clear settings to fix crashes.
