Finally got the #ATI driver to install on #Ubuntu 11.10 and gave #Gnome-Shell a swing. Can't say I understood or enjoyed it, but it works.

Holy crap. #Synergy is awesome. I can't believe I'm sharing Ubuntu's mouse and keyboard with my Windows machine. o_o

@imag1narynumber: I enjoyed 9 but stopped gaming as much after 10. 8 was always difficult for me to sit through though.

I was able to compile !Gimp 2.7 on Ubuntu 10.10! Needed 2.6 for shared libraries but it works! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!

Upgraded to !Ubuntu #Maverick today to beat the rush. Loved the installer! 10.10 itself feels snappy, boots more quickly, and looks great!
