@heathercore That you are *not* a programmer is a awesome -- we need more generalists interested in helping BarCampMKE! I'm a designer! :-)
-
@raster Thanks for the kind words Pete. :-)
-
@evan I'm open to Laconica logo design work. Have some details about what you're looking for? Email: mike (at) rohdesign.com
-
@raster I'm interested in the Z2 party, if you guys will have me. :-)
-
@mattress thanks for the music recommendations yesterday -- I will check those out.
-
@svdodge And if I recall, it closed early the Saturday night Gail and I saw it, making it pretty useless for hanging out at night.
-
@svdodge Pewaukee used to have a coffee shop right on the lake but it mighta been flooded out this spring.
-
@svdodge Depends on which 'burbs you mean! In Menomonee Falls we have an excellent coffee house with food, free WiFi and live music. :-)
-
@joshjs "Just follow the yellow cat5... follow, follow, follow, follow — follow the yellow cat5!" ;-)
-
@jeramey Funny: when I lived in W. Tosa, where it's pretty walkable, nobody really walked. In the Falls, I see people walking everywhere.
-
@mattress is that Trolley-O, the walking downtown circummutilator? :-)
-
Think I've convinced @tapps to roll 500' of ethernet cable on a garden hose reel, so she can wander the office with a cat5 cable in tow. :-)
-
@mattress very cool. Generally speaking I prefer instrumental music that helps me get into a zone for designing.
-
@mattress I like a very wide variety of music but for working I prefer electronica, post-rock and classic jazz.
-
@B_Samic if you come across other bands to suggest, please mention them. Always looking for good music to get into a design flow at work.
-
@mashby wishing I could be sippin' an espresso with you at @cremacrema right now. :-)

Or maybe @kevron has a tooth-hurty and is in a cantankerous mood?
