Great, according to the #ubuntustudio devel-mailinglist (in my own words!) there is hope for 12.04.I don't know how to fix graphics-part

Yeah, new Ubuntu with same nvidia trouble. Shall i just buy another brand of graphics card or wait another century for a fix?

Can't get nvidia to work properly on !Ubuntu 11.10 nor 11.04 anymore, i hope i'm the only one!

unbelievable! i managed to manually install latest nvidia driver on latest lowlatency kernel and it is working, jippy

The dream is over thanks to nvidia, back to !Ubuntu 10.04 again for now..

enjoying unity 3d on !Ubuntu lowlatency finally; choosing the other nvidia driver than the recommended one did the trick for me
