Have you used !Chromium lately? Considered switching from !Firefox? Some observations. http://is.gd/djfGK
-
@scaine: Some lesser known, but nonetheless excellent !Ubuntu software. http://is.gd/cZKgV
-
@psyk3d: Haha! Embarrassed now... must have had wrong one in clipboard! Damn. Try this... http://is.gd/cRJLA (not a video of my kids...!)
-
@psyk3d: Might be Radeon driver related. See comment #12 in http://is.gd/cRIUO. Might be worth a shot, even if symptoms aren't exact match
-
@psyk3d: Suspend (to RAM) doesn't use/care about swap, so problem is elsewhere, I'm afraid. Google for Dell+Suspend+Ubuntu maybe?
-
@psyk3d: The kernel does read the DSDT (Bios) file on boot, but won't be bothered if it's updated by a BIOS flash. No worries.
-
@psyk3d: Hmmm- suspend/resume is different from hibernate/restart. Hibernate needs swap, suspend doesn't. Are you talking about hibernate?
-
@psyk3d: Depends if you want to hibernate (if so, at least 4Gb). If not, 2Gb should be loads. Or less even, since you probs won't use it.
-
@maco: So what's the best course of action to have the theme modified before its release?
-
Twidroid on Android is superb. Might post occasionally now...
-
I signed the "OGG Vorbis Support in 7Digital Music Store" petition! http://petol.org/ovsi7ds #petol !floss !ubuntu !playogg
-
@nathaniel73 : You can also use "dpkg-query -s <package>" which will give you lots of info about the package if it's installed.
-
@decodedthought : you mean hang when using cifs in /etc/fstab? Try autofs instead.
-
@opentechgirl Would like to know how you plan to deploy to 250. Clonezilla?
