Palm's TouchPad looks really impressive. Disappointing that their next phone will still have that obnoxious portrait slider form factor tho

Bishop endorses confessing sins via iPhone: http://is.gd/2Atq2S Does it have badges like Foursquare? I want to be mayor of gluttony.

Much like Mozilla's 2011 roadmap, the Do Not Track feature in latest FF4 beta is powered mostly by optimism. It might even work someday.

For those who are wondering, I'll be at Google I/O instead of UDS. Hard choice. GIO is only once a year and had lots of good news last time.
-
Google I/O conflicts with the Ubuntu Developer Summit. MeeGo Summit is later that month. I really wish these events were spaced out more.
-
Gawker's latest network-wide redesign is kind of awful. Good thing I don't bother reading their content anymore anyway.
-
RD @jonobacon: I know I am biased, but Ubuntu 11.04 is looking and feeling *stunning*. Lot's to do, but proud of where it stands today

BREAKING: my non-existent pet cat has accepted AOL's offer to acquire the contents of his litter box for 315 million squeaky mice.

Really impressed with the UI improvements and new features in @Aldiko 2.0. I just wish it could sync current page number between devices.

I don't usually post about music, but I gotta say that VNV Nation's Electronaut is the best noise since Pink Floyd's Interstellar Overdrive.

Looks like RenderScript is kind of low-level: http://is.gd/2dNqI0 Not as interesting as I had hoped.
-
Really curious to see how Google's new RenderScript framework works. It seems like it might be similar to Nokia's QML.

I picked up a Nook Color for some Android hacking. Going to load up Honeycomb on it this weekend.

The secret to having a stable Ubuntu desktop for the duration of the whole cycle is to never let it update.

Nokia temporarily hiding MeeGo branch of Qt Quick Components: http://is.gd/njc6xk I hope this means that Nokia's MeeGo UI is coming soon!
-
Couldn't find existing bug report for the Firefox Panorama issue, so I filed one here: http://is.gd/cVM1Bv Anybody else experiencing that?
-
I often close tabs by accident in Firefox Panorama when I'm trying to select. The "undo close" feature doesn't work when that happens. :-(

New rumors of a MeeGo tablet in Q2: http://is.gd/WIEOgY I'm a bit skeptical. There is no tablet UI yet. Phone seems more likely.
