@schestowitz Spoke with their support team & found it's GPLv3 *only*, not v3-or-any-later version. Upcoming compatibility problems. #gplv4
@bkuhn I think public performance fits in #GPLv3 classification scheme but perhaps should be treated explicitly in #GPLv4
@lxoliva That isn't what the drafters of #GPLv3 meant by that clause. #GPLv4 should clarify. cc: @bkuhn
@lnxwalt280 Seriously? That's your argument: larry #rosen should write #gplv4? Remember always: i asked you to the r that
@x11r5 I don't know that anyone is ready for that process again. I nominate @fontana and @douglasawh to assist @rms and @bkuhn. #gplv4
â» @kuro: Seriously? That's your argument: larry #rosen should write #gplv4? Remember always: i asked you to be 6.5% for 4qfy12 and 6
Seriously? That's your argument: Larry #Rosen should write #GPLv4? Remember always: I asked you to volunteer to help & you sent me to Larry.

@fontana, I asked you before to propose wording for #GPLv4 that'd prevent proprietary relicensing. It's orthognal to !GPL's scope, so hard.
@bkuhn can you start using the #GPLv4 tag when applicable? This can be useful in the future to track discussions on the new license version.
@fontana congrats! that was the first dent in #GPLv4!
